Senior Backend Developer – Banking Industry

You will join HSBC, a global leader in banking and financial services, working on backend systems to empower digital transformation in the financial industry.

• At least 5 years of backend development experience within the financial services or banking sector.
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Knowledge of security best practices for enterprise backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills in English at a communicative level.

Nice to have:

• Certifications related to backend development or cloud technologies.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Additional language skills are appreciated.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions aligned with banking industry standards.
