Mid/Senior 3D Animator

We are Chronospace – creators of the games Aviators and The Cyphers Game. We are currently working on an ambitious project, War Mechanic – a game that combines exploration, survival, and simulation elements in a unique dieselpunk style. Our studio is based in Sopot with office in Gdynia and consists of a team of young, talented, and creative individuals.

• At least 5 years on similar position
• Professional experience in game development industry
• Great knowledge of both technical and artistic side of game character animation
• Great understanding of movement and ability to tell a story/convey emotions with movement
• Good knowledge of modeling programs: 3D Max, Maya, Modo, Blender
• Excellent skills in creating high-poly and low-poly 3D character models
• Understanding different art styles
• Ability to work within a team
• Good knowledge of game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI-enhanced workflows
• Familiarity with motion-capture pipeline
• Secondary school or university degree at graphic arts or equivalent
• Passionate about playing video games and most importantly, making them
• Familiarity with various game genres
• Familiarity with task trackers (Jira, Asana)
• Familiarity with version control software

• Rigging game characters and animating their movements
• Working closely with developers to create/improve tools, technologies and pipelines
• Working closely with the team to get best possible results
