Senior Insurance Technology Consultant

EPAM Systems is a global leader in AI transformation engineering and integrated consulting, serving Forbes Global 2000 companies and startups. The role is part of EPAM's growing Insurance Business Unit, focusing on AI and cloud transformation programs for leading insurance organizations in Poland and Europe.

• 8+ years of industry or consulting experience with 5+ years on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Expertise in AI strategy and GenAI/LLM-based solutions with hands-on enterprise deployment
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns including microservices, event-driven design, DevSecOps, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with AI lifecycle in SDLC environments, including prompt engineering and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of the insurance value chain (P&C, Life, Reinsurance) and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, DORA, Solvency II, KNF)
• Proven consulting experience including RFP support, business case design, and executive facilitation
• Excellent communication skills to influence C-level stakeholders
• Fluent English (B2), Polish language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40% across Europe

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications
• Experience in platform engineering, Team Topologies, or Domain-Driven Design (DDD) within insurance context

• Engage C-level stakeholders to define technology and AI transformation strategies for insurance clients across Europe
• Lead executive workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic advisory sessions
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-value narratives
• Validate and shape AI-powered solution strategies on enterprise cloud platforms
• Drive AI transformation initiatives including Generative AI tooling and developer productivity solutions
• Recommend cloud architecture patterns aligned with GDPR, DORA, and Solvency II regulations
• Enable internal AI capabilities including Generative AI programs and ROI measurement
• Support business development and identify new opportunities in the insurance market
• Collaborate with EPAM teams on proposals, client interviews, and growth strategies
