Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

NFQ is a core technology partner for HomeToGo, a SaaS-enabled marketplace offering the world's largest selection of vacation rentals. The company operates localized apps and websites in over 30 countries across Europe, the Americas, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. HomeToGo Group includes multiple brands such as Agriturismo.it and Tripping.com.

• Experience with PHP development
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Familiarity with message queues such as RabbitMQ and SQS
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Understanding of cloud services, specifically AWS
• Ability to design and build applications and integrations
• Experience working with APIs and distributed systems
• Willingness to mentor and collaborate within a team

• Take end-to-end ownership of feature delivery from refinement to production
• Design and build entire applications closely with architects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, plan milestones, and refine features
• Choose appropriate technologies guided by data and experience
• Build AI-driven solutions and integrations beyond daily AI tool use
• Develop new distribution channels for the marketplace
• Contribute to technical and architectural standards across the company
• Mentor teammates and participate in hiring processes
• Work with a tech stack including PHP, SQL databases, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kubernetes, and AWS
