Senior Integration Engineer

EPAM is a global leader in AI transformation engineering and integrated consulting, serving Forbes Global 2000 companies and startups. The role supports a complex business separation and standalone migration program involving migration of 600 applications across On-Premise, SaaS/Subscription, and Lab & OT environments.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in middleware development and enterprise integration.
• Practical experience developing and repointing integrations using Software AG webMethods, SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI), or Azure/AWS API Management.
• Deep familiarity with SAP integration mechanisms (IDoc, ALE, RFC) and additional protocols (BAPI, OData).
• Proficiency with enterprise protocols including REST, SOAP, SFTP, and AS2.
• Expertise with AI-assisted code/mapping refactoring tools, automated message validation scripts, and intelligent monitoring platforms.
• Strong competency in message flow testing, payload validation, and collaboration with business application owners.
• Ability to execute deployment runbooks and support cutover weekends under strict maintenance windows.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with complex M&A IT separation or TSA exit integration programs.
• Familiarity with Ardoq integration inventories or automated CI/CD deployment pipelines for middleware artifacts.
• Qualifications in webMethods, SAP BTP, or cloud integration architectures.

• Rebuild, configure, and re-point legacy interfaces across enterprise integration platforms (webMethods, SAP BTP CPI, Azure API Gateway).
• Partner with application owners, functional consultants, and SAP track to validate end-to-end message flows (IDoc/ALE, RFC/BAPI, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Utilize AI-powered integration testing tools, automated schema mapping assistants, and intelligent payload validation scripts.
• Ensure seamless data synchronization between satellite applications and core SAP hubs during migration waves.
• Participate in cutover rehearsals, execute delta configuration synchronizations, and support during SAP-clock cutover weekends.
• Investigate and resolve integration errors, message delivery failures, and connectivity bottlenecks during SIT, UAT, and hypercare phases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business application owners to align integration delivery with wave milestones.
