Senior Platform Engineer

Cluster Reply is recruiting for a Senior Platform Engineer to contribute to building an Internal Developer Platform for a large-scale industrial client.

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• Strong professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of platform engineering concepts, infrastructure abstractions, and self-service platforms.
• Good understanding of cloud fundamentals, including networking, security, monitoring, and IAM.
• Fluent communication skills in English, with experience working in international environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms or tools like Backstage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience building self-service cloud platforms and developer enablement solutions.

• Design and develop reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure abstractions.
• Build and extend components of an Internal Developer Platform / Developer Portal.
• Develop platform integrations and services using TypeScript.
• Enable self-service infrastructure provisioning and automation for development teams.
• Work with Microsoft Azure to design scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with platform, cloud, and product teams to deliver standardized platform capabilities.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and usability of platform solutions.
