Data Platform Developer/Analyst (Kafka)

B3 Consulting Poland is hiring for a Data Platform Developer/Analyst position based in Wrocław. The role involves working with data streaming platforms, microservices, and integration of data systems with a focus on Apache Kafka.

• Minimum 3 years of production experience with Apache Kafka including brokers, topics, partitioning, schemas, replication, and strong knowledge of Kafka Streams and kSQL
• Experience with Kafka Connect including configuration and development of connectors
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot (Boot, Cloud, Security, Data) and familiarity with Python
• Experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, query optimization) and GraphQL (service implementation, schema definition, resolvers)
• Basic knowledge of Apache Iceberg (table formats, metadata management)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Knowledge of data security principles (TLS, SASL, ACL, encryption at rest and in transit)
• Experience working in Agile methodologies using Scrum or Kanban with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to analyze business requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications
• Willingness to work hybrid in Wrocław (2 days per month)

Work location requirement: hybrid work in Wrocław with 2 days/month on site.
