Senior Software Engineer (Java) - remote (m/f/n)

The team builds an FMCG e-commerce platform in Poland with over 300,000 products, working with over 300 sellers, and a mobile application downloaded by almost 1.5 million users in Poland.

• Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot (MVC and/or WebFlux)
• Hands-on experience with Kafka
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Good understanding of Hexagonal / Clean Architecture and microservices patterns
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Spock, JUnit, Testcontainers, and contract testing
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab CI
• Solid understanding of OAuth2/JWT-based security
• Proficiency with AI coding tools; familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor

• Design and implement microservices following Hexagonal Architecture principles
• Contribute to architectural decisions and solution design
• Build event-driven integrations using Kafka, Avro, and Transactional Outbox
• Write comprehensive automated tests including unit, integration, and contract tests
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
• Take ownership of assigned topics, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code in daily workflow

Final stage of recruitment requires in-person attendance at Warsaw office; candidates must be available and willing to travel.
