Senior Architect, Domain Architecture

PANDORA's Digital & Technology Hub in Warsaw supports the world's largest jewellery brand, focusing on digital innovation, scalable technology solutions, and global transformation. The Warsaw Hub collaborates globally, including with headquarters in Copenhagen, to advance digital retail and e-commerce technology. The engineering teams build and connect systems powering PANDORA's global ecosystem.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise, Domain, or Solution Architecture in complex global environments, preferably in retail, supply chain, planning, forecasting, inventory management, merchandising, or omnichannel.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integrations, APIs, event-driven architecture, data platforms, and transition architectures.
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into scalable architecture solutions, reusable patterns, standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Experience leading architecture decisions and governance across products, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure), data platforms (Databricks), integration technologies, SAP, and planning solutions like o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP.
• Good understanding of AI-enabled solutions, analytics, forecasting, and optimization with capacity to guide practical adoption.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and large-scale transformation programs involving legacy and target platforms.
• Strong business orientation with ability to influence and translate architecture into measurable business value.
• Hands-on, pragmatic leader driving architecture excellence through communication, collaboration, and capability building.

• Improve architecture decision flow for Integrated Planning, including triage and impact review for configuration changes.
• Help teams identify risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and non-functional requirements early.
• Coach teams to produce clear, decision-oriented architecture documentation reusable across programs.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Planning, Product, Engineering, Delivery, Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, and vendors to align business needs with architecture.
• Challenge vendor proposals that add complexity, duplicate capabilities, or weaken long-term architecture.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership on domain architecture, platform trade-offs, risks, and AI-enabled planning opportunities.

Architecture Scope:

• Define and evolve target architecture across planning workflows such as demand, replenishment, supply, inventory, assortment, and pricing.
• Maintain domain blueprints showing capabilities, systems, data flows, integrations, ownership, and transition states.
• Ensure architecture supports business outcomes like forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory quality, planning speed, and decision consistency.
• Define reference architectures and integration patterns across platforms like o9, ERP, and legacy systems.
• Reduce duplicated solutions via reusable patterns for demand signals, forecasts, data access, exception handling, and outputs.
• Guide architects and engineering on standardization, local variation, and transition safety.
• Shape AI-enabled planning architecture including scenario analysis, exception management, decision support, recommendations, control towers, and conversational interfaces.
• Ensure AI use cases have clear domain models, trusted data, explainable logic, secure access, and auditable decision flows.
• Partner with business and data teams on semantic layers, terminology, data contracts, and governance for human and AI agent reasoning.
