Senior Fullstack Developer (Python / Django / Angular)

Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. They focus on high-quality engineering and building complex, production-grade systems. The project is a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by healthcare facilities in the US market, involving a web application, mobile applications, and hospital system integrations.

• Minimum 10 years of commercial software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS
• Experience developing and maintaining large, production-grade applications
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL including query optimization, indexing, and migrations
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
• Experience with Celery or other background task processing solutions
• Experience with automated testing using pytest or similar frameworks
• Practical experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work effectively with complex legacy codebases, including refactoring and modernization
• Strong understanding of software architecture, maintainability, and performance optimization
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, propose solutions, and deliver features
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with international clients
• English language proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Availability for afternoon meetings (CET/CEST) with the US-based team

Nice to have:

• Experience leading or coordinating a small development team
• Experience working on healthcare platforms or regulated systems, including HIPAA-related requirements
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare system integration standards
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or SSO integrations
• Experience with AngularJS (1.x) and migration to modern Angular
• Familiarity with iOS or Android development

• Develop, maintain, and improve the SaaS platform using Python, Django, and Angular
• Work on both backend services and frontend application components
• Participate in knowledge transfer and establish effective development practices
• Contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements
• Collaborate with US-based product and engineering stakeholders
• Analyze requirements, provide estimates, and support release planning
• Maintain and enhance existing code while delivering new features
• Design and develop REST APIs and integrations with external systems
• Optimize database queries, application performance, and background processing
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation
• Coordinate with mobile developers on backend changes and API integrations
• Identify technical risks proactively and propose improvements
