Mainframe Batch Specialist

Work for the largest bank in Europe, which operates in more than 65 countries around the world giving access to over 90% of all world trade flows. Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within #Fintech, #Finance and #Banking market in EMEA.

• 3+ years of experience
• Solid knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS mainframe environments
• Good knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)
• Basic knowledge of Horizon IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD, and XINFO
• Understanding of incident and change management processes
• Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Good written and spoken English
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ensure the stability, integrity and availability of the team’s products and services
• Work in line with Service Management Standards and keep data in Service Management systems accurate
• Identify and resolve IT service incidents, working closely with DevOps team leadership
• Ensure solutions meet resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives
• Deliver infrastructure changes with focus on customer and user experience
• Design and deploy infrastructure meeting performance, availability, security, and resilience requirements
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes to improve consistency and reliability
• Improve automation, continuous integration, system monitoring, and maintenance processes

Recruitment process includes an initial phone screening with recruiter followed by one interview with hiring managers. Hybrid work is 6 days per month from the office in Cracow.
