Sovereign Cloud Security Architect

In4ge is a recruitment firm connecting talented professionals with companies. The role is for a global technology and strategy consulting firm executing strategic tasks in sectors like pharmaceuticals, energy, and the public sector.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud architecture or security, including practical technical knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (IAM, encryption, key management, networking, logging).
• Proficiency in analyzing audit reports and certification documentation (C5, SOC 2, SecNumCloud) with full understanding.
• Holding certificates like CCSP, CISSP, or equivalent successful cloud security experience.
• Fluent English and documented experience conducting technical workshops with senior management and key stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and experience with European digital sovereignty frameworks (SEAL, BSI C3A).
• Certifications such as Azure SC-100 or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes platforms and European cloud providers.
• Knowledge of French or German languages.

• Assess cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, and European providers) for controls and dependencies including key custody, identity and access management, support path analysis, telemetry, and control-plane ownership.
• Classify and audit cloud solutions according to frameworks SEAL, BSI C3A, SecNumCloud, and C5 and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Review and design key management architectures, including HYOK, external key management, and HSM integration (e.g., Thales CipherTrust).
• Recommend target architectures and provider options ranging from hyperscaler specialized services to European suppliers.
• Define technological constraints in digital sovereignty roadmaps, indicating compliance levels.
• Create reusable analytical materials such as checklists, reference architectures, and assessment templates.
• Cooperate closely with cloud, security, and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation of recommended solutions.
