GCP Data Engineer

• Hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience with Apache Airflow workflow orchestration.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with PySpark-based data processing.
• Practical experience with BigQuery.
• Experience designing and developing data lakehouse solutions.
• Knowledge of medallion architecture concepts.
• Experience with performance and cost optimization in BigQuery.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD implementation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Understanding of data security concepts, including IAM, RBAC/ABAC, policy tagging, and DLP.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience participating in code reviews and establishing engineering standards.
• Ability to provide technical consulting and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience in regulated environments such as financial services.
• Knowledge of cloud data governance best practices.
• Experience with modern Lakehouse architectures.

• Develop and maintain Lakehouse Gold and Platinum layers.
• Build and optimize data transformation workflows using dbt and PySpark.
• Design, schedule, and monitor data pipelines with Apache Airflow.
• Improve BigQuery performance and support FinOps optimization initiatives.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
• Support cloud security and data governance practices, including IAM and DLP.
• Work with Dataplex for data management and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
