Wealth Platforms Analyst – QA Specialist (She/He/They)

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in Avaloq environments.
• Experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Business expertise in at least one of: Securities Operations, Client Relationship Management, Object Model, Cash Operations (including Payments), Settlements and Reconciliation, Credit, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Costs & Fees, or Interfaces & integration.
• Good knowledge of relational database logic, such as Oracle or SQL Server, and SQL.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with very good written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• German or French language skills that allow interaction with clients.
• Avaloq certification or hands-on experience with Avaloq modules.
• Finance experience or knowledge of banking products and processes.
• Experience with web or mobile application testing.
• Experience with the Angular framework.
• Exposure to test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.

Business aspects:

• Collaborate with global clients and colleagues locally and abroad on solution implementation and support.
• Contribute to Avaloq transformation projects across areas such as stock exchange, payments, CRM and KYC, interfacing, and data migration.
• Support project teams in delivering reliable, business-ready solutions through testing and defect management.

Project and Technical aspects:

• Design, prepare, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data for Avaloq solutions.
• Validate business and functional requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test planning, test reporting, and quality assurance governance.
• Use JIRA and Confluence to facilitate work.
• Conduct test data analysis and troubleshoot through PL/SQL queries.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and test suites.
