Forward Deployed Engineer III, Google Cloud

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and deploying NLP models and generative AI agents.
• Experience implementing DevOps and MLOps pipelines.
• Experience building generative AI solutions in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging, and coding in Python.

Nice to have:

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s ADK, and complex patterns such as ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
• Knowledge of LLM-native metrics, including tokens/sec and cost-per-request, and techniques for optimizing state management and granular tracing.
• Ability to implement secure agentic workflows using MCP, tool-calling, and OAuth-based authentication.

• Serve as lead developer for complex AI applications, moving rapid prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and MCP servers.
• Architect and code integrations between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy data silos, and security perimeters.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic systems, addressing accuracy, safety, and latency requirements.
• Identify recurring field patterns and technical friction points in Google’s AI stack and turn them into reusable modules or product feature requests for engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams and help them apply Google development practices.
