End-to-end Systems Engineer

• At least 10 years of experience in systems engineering of complex space systems.
• Understanding of spacecraft, payload and ground segment architectures.
• Strong experience in requirements engineering and system-level interface management.
• Experience with system architecture, trade-offs and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of systems engineering standards and processes, preferably ECSS, ISO 15288 or INCOSE.
• Ability to mentor less experienced systems engineers.
• Experience working with the European Space Agency, European Commission and European Defense Agency.
• Experience working on systems with flight heritage (TRL 9).
• Experience with verification and validation of complex systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in both oral and written English.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with MBSE.

• Define the overall system architecture of space systems and technical baseline.
• Translate customer and mission needs into system-level requirements.
• Allocate requirements to spacecraft, payload, ground and operational segments.
• Manage cross-segment interfaces and ensure end-to-end compatibility.
• Lead system-level trade-offs, performance analyses and technical decisions.
• Develop ConOps and mission scenarios.
• Lead technical proposal preparations.
• Define and coordinate system-level verification and validation.
• Support system integration, design reviews, acceptance and operational readiness.
• Act as the main technical integrator across engineering domains and system elements.
