Develop and modernize integration components for Nordea’s Safekeeping system and other bank systems, as part of the Safekeeping and Corporate Actions Development team. The role combines Java development with technical leadership across a system of microservices connected through Kafka, MQ, REST services and API Gateway.

Wymagania

Required:

Fluent in Java, SQL and English.
At least 12 years’ experience as a software developer in large-scale enterprises, with demonstrated progression to technical leadership.
Experience with Maven, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Oracle, IBM MQ, Kafka, JUnit, Testcontainers, Git and Bamboo for CI/CD.

Obowiązki

Main responsibilities:

Design, build and enhance integration components connecting the Safekeeping system with other Nordea systems, and supporting components that expand its capabilities.
Own the overall technical quality of solutions, establish coding standards, and maintain a strategic backlog of technical improvements and architectural enhancements.
Mentor and guide team members in technical best practices, code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Lead technical architecture decisions with solution and enterprise architects, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and represent technical competence in cross-functional meetings.
Represent the technical perspective in Scrum ceremonies, drive technical estimates, identify risks and propose solutions to integration challenges.
Ensure system reliability by implementing monitoring, troubleshooting production issues and establishing incident response procedures.
