Batch Scheduling Specialist

• 3+ years of experience.
• Solid knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS mainframe environments.
• Good knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Basic knowledge of Horizon IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD and XINFO.
• Understanding of incident and change management processes.
• Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in enterprise IT operations or mainframe environments.
• Knowledge of German.

• Maintain the operational stability, integrity and availability of supported IT services.
• Ensure compliance with service management standards, operational controls and data quality requirements.
• Support incident identification, troubleshooting and resolution with the DevOps team.
• Help ensure service resilience, sustainability and recovery time objectives.
• Implement infrastructure changes while maintaining service quality and user experience, and support changes that meet performance, availability, security and resilience requirements.
• Automate build, testing and deployment processes across environments.
• Improve automation, continuous integration, system monitoring and maintenance processes.
