Podsumowanie oferty

You will own and evolve the platform and its delivery foundations for IGT’s Distributed Fleet Management platforms, Evo and Advantage X. The role focuses on transforming infrastructure and delivery practices using AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.

Wymagania

Senior engineer ready to operate with staff-level impact, with strong judgment, practical depth and ownership of outcomes.
Deep expertise in at least two areas:
- Networking, including network automation, AWS networking, service mesh, connectivity and systematic troubleshooting.
- Terraform and AWS, including reusable infrastructure design, state and lifecycle decisions, testing, security and safe change at scale.
- Linux, including operating-system troubleshooting, practical automation and command-line fluency.
- Kubernetes, including production clusters, storage, networking, RBAC, zero-trust approaches, resource management, high availability, troubleshooting, Helm, Argo CD and Istio.
- Security automation, including secrets management, access control, hardening, scanning and continuous compliance controls.
- Internal Developer Platforms, including Backstage platform architecture, developer self-service, paved roads, reusable capabilities, governance, adoption and product boundaries.
- Microservices system design, including service boundaries, communication patterns, resilience, scalability, observability, data ownership, failure handling and operational trade-offs.
Takes ownership, moves work forward and challenges assumptions when they do not serve product or business outcomes.
Treats infrastructure and automation as software that is versioned, reviewed, tested and documented.
Can explain trade-offs between simplicity and capability, immediate delivery and future cost, and local optimization and platform-wide impact.

Automation and security:

Treat infrastructure changes as software: versioned, reviewed, tested and reproducible.
Embed access control, secrets management, hardening, scanning and compliance checks into engineering workflows.

Operations and architecture:

Use observability to understand reliability, performance and business impact.
