Cloud Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Very good knowledge of English and Polish
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with public cloud providers AWS/Azure
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with big data frameworks and tools like Spark, Kafka, Flink, and formats such as Apache Iceberg
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Plus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD, DBT

Nice to have:

• Experience with Databricks, DBT
• Availability to work in hybrid mode with at least 2 visits to the office per month

• Design and implement robust, scalable data processing systems, including storage technology selection, schema design, and integration planning
• Develop and maintain data transformation, integration, and ETL pipelines ensuring data quality and accessibility
• Monitor, tune, and optimize data applications and database performance
• Provide expert consultancy on data strategies, architecture choices, and technological advancements to clients
• Assist in developing analytics platforms and business intelligence solutions
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into effective data engineering solutions
