• Fluency in Linux system administration (especially Ubuntu)
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, etc.)
• Managing services, permissions, cron jobs, and log analysis
• Troubleshooting system performance and connectivity issues
• Strong SQL skills: writing queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers, and query optimization
• Experience with database performance tuning and index optimization
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
• Understanding of system and network security concepts
• Understanding of HTTPS protocol, SSL/TLS certificates, and secure communication practices
• Experience configuring secure Linux environments (e.g., SSH hardening, firewall rules)
• Familiarity with network segmentation and access control
• Experience with observability, alert, and monitoring tools
• Skills in data analysis and visualization

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, primarily Ubuntu
• Handle routine administrative tasks including service management, user permissions, cron job scheduling, and log analysis
• Troubleshoot system performance and connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or other shell scripting tools
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers
