Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Base supports entrepreneurs in global e-commerce. It is one of the fastest growing platforms in the industry, having grown 15 times in 3 years. It provides an all-in-one system for thousands of sellers integrating with platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.

• Minimum 4 years experience in DevOps/SysAdmin role including hands-on AWS practice
• Strong cloud knowledge complemented by classical administration experience; Data Center or physical server maintenance is a plus
• Proficient with Linux; comfortable using terminal
• High moral standards and responsibility in managing critical infrastructure
• Humble approach to technology with strong problem-solving skills
• Analytical thinking considering security, performance, and long-term impact
• Ability to integrate cloud solutions with physical server knowledge
• English language proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications
• Practical experience with Terraform
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Cloudflare
• Interest in agent-based DevOps automation

• Manage infrastructure access permissions with meticulous care
• Implement stable AWS cloud services to handle dynamic growth
• Maintain Unix/Linux servers including configuration, updates, and automation
• Respond to incidents using log analysis with Datadog and Elastic Stack, performing root cause analysis
• Support development teams to ensure continuous system operation
