Senior Java Engineer

Verita HR is an international recruitment company specializing in the #Fintech, #Finance, and #Banking markets in EMEA, connecting innovative organizations with qualified professionals. The project focuses on implementing a trading hub supporting mutual funds, equities, and financial products across the full investment lifecycle for a leading international bank.

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 and above)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Knowledge of secure coding practices
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Understanding of containers such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka, IBM MQ
• Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate, MyBatis
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java (Spring) solutions for the banking ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
• Support deployment and monitoring of applications in production
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Write clear technical documentation

Work arrangement is hybrid: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow.
