DevOps Engineer (GitLab)

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE, with focus on GitLab administration and CI/CD
• Experience with GitLab Premium or Ultimate features is a plus
• Proficiency with CI/CD concepts: branching strategies, pipeline as code, artifacts, environments, approvals, and compliance controls
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), deploying/scaling GitLab Runners on Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm) and configuration management (Ansible or similar)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work cross-functionally
• Team-player with good verbal and written skills in English

• Take a leading role in maintaining and evolving the corporate GitLab platform running in Azure
• Design, implement, and manage GitLab components and configurations (groups, projects, runners, pipelines, templates, shared libraries)
• Build and maintain shared CI/CD pipelines, reusable templates, automations, and best-practice patterns for delivery at scale
• Implement and maintain GitLab Runners (Kubernetes, autoscaling, Docker, Shell) with enterprise-grade reliability and security
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI solutions, self-service capabilities, and feedback loops
• Create documentation, runbooks, and internal enablement materials; deliver training and provide Tier 2/3 support for GitLab and related tools
