SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Consultant to configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions, focusing on implementing electronic invoicing in adherence to statutory requirements. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, aligning with financial best practices and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting through precise system configurations.

• 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO configurations and financial system implementation
• Knowledge of Parallel Accounting with a ledgers-based approach, DRC functionality and e-invoicing setup
• Experience in local reporting configuration and compliance with statutory requirements
• Expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FICO) and financial processes
• Familiarity with XML schemas, mappings and SAP Cloud Integration setups
• Flexibility to align with SAP Finance best practices in project execution
• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)

Nice to have:

• Background in GAAP accounting standards
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform
• Competency in SAP Controlling functionalities

• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA DRC for electronic invoicing ensuring compliance with country-specific statutory requirements
• Maintain country-specific DRC configuration including Compliance Reporting Framework, Company Code assignments and Business Function activations
• Set up and manage eDocument types, mappings, XML schemas, format mappings and output determination
• Establish and maintain communication arrangements using SAP Cloud Integration with tax authority or government systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial process alignment with business needs
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users
• Identify and propose process improvement opportunities
• Document system configurations and procedures comprehensively to meet project standards
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure minimal defects
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met effectively
