Senior Java Developer z Niemieckim

Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. They focus on long-term, high-quality engineering and building complex, production-grade systems with real business impact. The project involves developing and maintaining tax-related software systems for the public sector, building and evolving complex, high-availability systems used in a regulated environment.

• German language at C1 level (fluent written and spoken communication)
• Higher education in IT (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent qualification + minimum 5 years of experience
• Strong experience with Java (Java 8+)
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Git
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Linux (terminal-based work)
• Experience with OpenShift and Helm (minimum 2 years)
• Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g. Spring Data, JPA)
• Experience with build tools and CI (e.g. Gradle, CI pipelines)
• Experience working on large-scale projects (long-term, multi-person teams)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience in building RESTful services
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Basic frontend experience (React, TypeScript)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• English at B1 level

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java
• Build and extend RESTful APIs
• Work with relational databases and ORM frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment

• Support CI/CD processes and work in containerized environments
• Perform occasional DevOps-related tasks
