Principal Product Data Scientist

• Extensive experience in data science or a similar quantitative role supporting product organizations.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Deep hands-on experience with statistical modeling, experimentation, multi-arm bandit, and machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, and clustering.
• Ability to define, implement, and operationalize product and feature-level metrics.
• Proven strategic influence and ability to lead technical discussions and communicate complex insights.
• Experience scaling analytics capabilities through automation and self-service tools.
• Strong critical thinking skills with rational and unbiased analysis.
• Outstanding leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to influence cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or related quantitative field.

• Advanced programming skills for building simulations and prototyping data products.
• Experience validating quantitative findings with qualitative methods.
• Experience with applied AI, including NLP, Large Language Models, or Agentic AI.
• Experience in two-sided marketplaces, e-commerce, or travel technology.
• Master's degree or equivalent relevant programs.

• Lead and define the Data Science strategy for Product, focusing on advanced analytics, data science, and AI methodologies.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior Product and Engineering leadership to embed data-driven decision making.
• Drive development and adoption of next-generation data science tooling, platforms, and frameworks emphasizing automation, scalability, and reproducibility.
• Spearhead exploration and integration of emerging AI technologies, including Agentic AI and AI Agents.
• Champion best practices in experimentation, causal inference, and uplift modeling.
• Own complex analytical projects, translating ambiguous questions into actionable recommendations.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Lead initiatives to scale impact through automation, self-service, and democratization of data science capabilities.
• Develop customer segmentation and predictive models to inform and optimize the product roadmap.
• Communicate complex analytical and technical concepts to diverse stakeholders across teams.
