Senior DevOps Engineer

We build AI tools for firms in legal and professional services: software people use for real work, not demos. We started a few months ago and already have paying clients who rely on what we ship. The team is small and moving fast.

• At least seven years running production infrastructure for web applications.
• Automate by default; avoid manual one-off fixes.
• Consider failure modes, blast radius, and recovery.
• Take security and multi-tenant isolation seriously.
• Use AI coding tools effectively and understand all code changes.
• Adapt to startup environment with changing directions.
• Experience with Terraform (5+ years), Kubernetes AKS (5+ years), Azure (3+ years), Helm (3+ years), CI/CD with GitHub Actions (2+ years).
• Proven hands-on experience with microservices and multi-tenant architecture.

Nice to have:

• Python for tooling development.
• PostgreSQL administration including tuning, backups, replication.
• Bash scripting.
• Experience with AI agents.
• Running GPU or model-inference workloads.
• Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Security or compliance background relevant to sensitive data handling.

• Build and run cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines for fast, repeatable deployments.
• Own reliability through monitoring, alerting, and automation to prevent repeated incidents.
• Maintain security and tenant isolation for confidential client data.
• Manage infrastructure for model serving and AI workloads, including cost and scaling.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth production deployment as the team grows.
