Senior Java Developer

Join our global, decision-driving team based in Krakow working on transforming the global travel industry by designing, building, and maintaining a next-generation, high-scale, low-latency Order Management System for airlines. The project focuses on replacing legacy ticketing with a modern, e-commerce-driven "Offer & Order" ecosystem using scalable, microservice-based, cloud-oriented architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent professional certifications.
• Deep knowledge of Java ecosystem including backend programming, solution design, Spring, and Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application development.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and handle high-volume, low-latency transaction systems.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-disciplined and committed to continuous learning.
• Must possess a legal work permit in Poland.

• Developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex software solutions and new cloud-native microservices using advanced technologies.
• Designing prototypes, proposing architectural enhancements, and managing the lifecycle of dynamic travel baskets and legacy system integrations.
• Encouraging high coding standards, promoting best practices, and ensuring software quality.
• Providing technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to the team.
• Collaborating regularly with architects, product managers, and technical panels to align business requirements with technology.
• Representing the team in cross-functional and cross-team meetings.
