Senior Engineer - SRE Lead

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing engineering teams and setting technical direction in a corporate environment.
• Proven experience building or transforming teams into high-performance SRE or Engineering organizations.
• Strong knowledge of automation and scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry, or similar.
• Experience maintaining high-availability, low-latency systems in regulated environments (e.g., financial sector, fintech, insurance).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in an international environment.
• Highly developed communication, documentation skills, and responsibility for delivered solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience maintaining and developing IT services based on external vendor solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulations in the financial services sector.

• Manage the Site Reliability Engineering team responsible for maintaining and developing critical services and platforms supported by external vendors.
• Oversee the full work process: receiving requests, prioritizing, delivering results, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and implement reliability indicators (SLO, SLI, SLA).
• Support product teams in adopting best SRE and reliability practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Develop monitoring and observability systems and implement tools to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Define and enforce engineering and operational standards including documentation, code review, quality control, and operational procedures.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members' competencies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality solutions.
• Analyze results and implement improvements to increase team efficiency and production environment stability.
