AI Engineer

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 1–2 years in AI/ML or Generative AI production solutions.
• Proven delivery of AI features in production with real users.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise environments covering security, compliance, integrations, and scale.
• Deep practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and context management.
• Experience building agents, copilots, or multi-agent workflows.
• Experience deploying and operating AI workloads on Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI Service and related services.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and building custom copilots.
• Strong production-quality Python skills including typing, testing, packaging, and async patterns.
• Experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs, event-driven patterns, API design, and versioning.
• Knowledge of MLOps fundamentals such as experiment tracking, model and prompt versioning, automated evaluation, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with multiple LLM providers and adapting to provider-specific patterns.
• Experience with embedded/on-platform AI tooling such as ServiceNow Now Assist or similar ITSM AI capabilities.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset balancing iteration speed with production quality.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

• Design and implement AI-driven solutions to automate business processes and improve service delivery.
• Build production-grade Generative AI applications such as LLM-powered features, AI agents, and copilots.
• Contribute to proofs of concept and pilots, rapidly prototyping new capabilities.
• Develop and integrate AI agents and multi-agent systems using orchestration frameworks.
• Build APIs and microservices exposing AI capabilities, adhering to architecture and security standards.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, ITSM, data warehouse, identity, observability) via APIs, events, and connectors.
• Ensure designs support scalability, reliability, and change management.
• Contribute to responsible AI practices and internal policy development.
• Implement governance and security controls including data classification, prompt injection defenses, audit logging, and RBAC.

This role may require security clearance for customer projects and access to sensitive customer data, including background checks subject to local laws.
