Network Solutions Architect - Lawful Intercept & Compliance - Lisbon Based

• Degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Mandatory English proficiency; other languages are a plus
• Excellent understanding of mobile networks and architectures
• Experience with MVNO architectures and roaming environments including technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects
• Experience with lawful interception frameworks (ETSI, CALEA) and standards in mobile networks
• Experience with lawful intercept gateways, mediation, and delivery functions
• Experience with service interception in core network functions (CS and PS Voice, SMS/MMS, Data)
• Experience with interception in 5G core mobile networks
• Experience with lawful interception procedures and associated processes
• Experience communicating with telecom regulators and law enforcement agencies
• Experience with LTE, 5G, IMS, IP technologies, and protocols
• Solid knowledge of networking principles and protocols including security
• Experience writing High Level Designs and Low Level Designs and presenting documents
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and protocols in mobile networks
• Proactive attitude anticipating and addressing problems
• Ability to work in complex, multicultural, geographically distributed teams
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Design new lawful interception integrations for various enforcement agencies across MVNOs and countries
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Regulatory teams to create compliant lawful intercept processes
• Serve as technical point of contact for engineering and integration issues related to lawful intercept projects
• Drive the complete software lifecycle including testing with law enforcement agencies
• Collaborate on lawful interception operational processes and procedures
• Define reliable, modular, scalable, compliance-centric solutions with technical teams
• Design and present solutions in documents and workshops, identifying impacts, efforts, and resources needed
• Conduct market prospection and analysis of RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate with suppliers
• Follow new technology trends in telecom relevant to lawful interception
• Define and follow company technological evolution roadmaps
• Document existing technology portfolio and propose improvements or alternatives
• Ensure quality of documentation execution (HLDs, LLDs, changes)
• Ensure implementation quality including software upgrades and compliance testing
• Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding lawful interception
• Perform capacity and performance analysis, reporting, and improvement solution definition
• Collaborate with other teams for alignment and continuous improvement
