Lead Graphics Programmer

Larian Studios is a game development studio known for high-quality role-playing games such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2. The studio has multiple awards and operates internationally with over 500 employees across 7 studios.

• Demonstrable Lead or Management experience
• Extensive experience programming for games
• Excellent C++ skills
• Strong mentor and coaching ability
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Passion for making and playing great games
• Experience with graphics APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulkan
• Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools
• Multi-threading should be second nature
• This is a full-time, on-site role requiring presence in the office

• Lead, mentor and coach the Graphics team
• Assist with recruiting of Graphics Programmers
• Manage code reviews and code features documentation
• Work in tandem with other programming Leads at Larian Studios
• Assist in maintaining, porting and extending the proprietary engine on multiple platforms
• Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets
• Complete tasks timely and to a consistent high quality standard
• Develop well-designed software within project schedule to team standards
• Safeguard company assets including source code, artwork, tools, and technical know-how
