Fullstack Developer (Java + Kotlin + React)

Scalo is a company delivering software projects and supporting partners in business development. They provide software enabling faster operations and better results. Their areas include technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated development teams.

• Minimum 4 years of experience programming in Java and working with the Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices.
• Ability to create user interfaces in React and integrate them with backend layers.
• Understanding of system architecture and ability to implement end-to-end functionalities independently.
• Experience in writing unit tests and working with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Responsibility for quality and maintaining high code standards.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools related to containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Docker, Terraform, and AWS cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in English enabling fluent communication in speech and writing.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and understanding their values and principles.

Nice to have:

• Experience in e-commerce or finance projects.
• Knowledge of Microservices, REST, React, TDD, Docker, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

• Participate in an e-commerce project developing modern microservice-based solutions using Kotlin, Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, React, and other technologies.
• Design, implement, deliver, and maintain backend solutions including REST APIs and user interfaces for back-office applications.
• Participate in analysis, estimation, and project planning in cooperation with other teams.
• Collaborate closely with QA teams on integration of quality assurance tools and processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Work following Infrastructure as Code principles and contribute to technical documentation including C4 diagrams.
• Participate in self-organizing Agile Scrum teams.
• Maintain existing applications and actively work on reducing technical debt.
