• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance functions including financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience overseeing financial activities of legal entities or countries
• Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial statements
• Experience providing guidance and recommendations to a team of GL accountants
• Strategic thinking with ability to contribute to long-term financial planning
• Fluent in English and German

• GL Accountant responsibility
• Guardian of month close for the country with overall oversight on the country books
• Communicate through agreed governance with Tax advisor/corporate to translate GAAP changes into BPO processes and operations
• Analyse and identify balances and movements to be explained and coordinate within BPO to clarify and correct if relevant
• Act as Audit contact
