Drools Consultant / Rule Engine Expert

• Deep practical knowledge of Drools, Business Central, KIE Server/KIE Containers, and Complex Event Processing (CEP)
• Strong experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Experience designing rule-based architectures in distributed systems
• Excellent understanding of software architecture and integration patterns
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and proactively implement solutions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working closely with development teams in Agile environments
• Very good command of English
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role

• Support teams in designing and implementing enterprise solutions based on the Drools ecosystem
• Analyze existing technical challenges and identify improvements related to performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Define best practices for rule architecture, coding standards, and rule lifecycle management
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Participate in code reviews, workshops, and technical knowledge exchange sessions
• Design reliable integrations between Drools components and modern microservice architectures
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies in complex project environments
• Contribute directly to implementation and optimization activities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and implementation guidelines
