Power BI Visualization Engineer

• Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service), including governance and publishing workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, including measures, context handling, and performance tuning.
• Experience in data modeling concepts, including star schema and relationship management.
• Solid SQL knowledge for data preparation within large-scale environments.
• Proven ability to create clear, visually appealing dashboards aligned with business KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Azure data services (Synapse, ADF, Data Lake, Fabric).
• Knowledge of Power Query (M language) for ETL transformations.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for Power BI deployments.
• Exposure to Power Automate and Power Platform for workflow automation.
• Python for ad hoc data tasks or automation scenarios.
• Experience working with corporate BI environments and large datasets.

• Deliver impactful, business-oriented dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Build and optimize semantic data models (star schema, relationships) for BI performance and accuracy.
• Create advanced DAX measures, ensuring calculation correctness, context awareness, and query performance.
• Work directly with stakeholders: gather requirements, define KPI frameworks, and translate them into actionable visual insights.
• Enable self-service BI and ensure best practices in design for readability, aesthetics, and scalability.
• Work with SQL-based data sources (data warehouses) to prepare and optimize data for reporting.
