(Senior) Node.js Developer - Freelance

Netguru is a consultancy, product design, and software development company founded in 2008. It provides application development services for businesses of any size, including fintech, healthcare, commerce, tourism, and robotics industries. The company has nearly 600 employees worldwide and has completed over 1400 projects. Clients include major brands like Volkswagen, IKEA, and Keller Williams. The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React.js, React Native, Kotlin, Vue.js, Python, Django, and Elixir.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience working fully remotely with proven self-management and accountability.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Node.js/NestJS.
• In-depth understanding of web application architecture and scalable design principles.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and optimizing databases, including query optimization, scaling, and data modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of Docker and AWS.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level.

• Design and implement reusable, clean, tested, efficient, secure, maintainable, and well-documented solutions.
• Assist partners in their integration process with published APIs.
• Document findings, actions, and plans thoroughly, establishing a solid reporting framework and communication standards.
• Provide technical feasibility analysis for product requirements and contribute to the product team.
• Translate product requirements into software requirement specifications (SRS) and technical plans.
• Proactively identify technical debt and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and develop knowledge about software development and mentor other team members.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to high standards.
• Understand the business aspects and lead technical and product discussions.
• Introduce new tools to enhance startup productivity.
