Senior Linux Systems Engineer – Data Center Migration and Payment Processing

This role is with a leading financial technology provider specializing in payment and issuer processing applications. The position involves supporting complex Linux environments during critical application migrations and infrastructure transformation projects in a high-transaction financial setting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in payment or high-transaction environments.
• Expertise with Linux (RedHat, Oracle Linux) and application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Rundeck.
• Knowledge of cryptography standards (PKI, PGP) and IP network management.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.
• Ability to quickly learn complex infrastructure.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Current RHCE certification.

• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux server environments (RedHat, Oracle Linux).
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Rundeck and Ansible.
• Diagnose, monitor, and enhance system performance to ensure uptime and security.
• Collaborate with Application & Middleware teams for migration planning and environment setup.
• Document procedures using Confluence.
• Support data center migration activities alongside project managers.
• Implement cryptography solutions (PKI, PGP) and manage IP network configurations.
• Support incident resolution for business-critical systems.
