Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

Shelf builds an AI Data Model platform enabling AI agents to reliably deliver precise outcomes at enterprise scale. The company serves clients like Glovo, Nespresso, and HelloFresh with production data and secure SOC2, HIPAA-ready infrastructure.

• Strong senior-level experience shipping production web products
• Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript or equivalent modern web stack
• Real backend ability designing and shipping APIs, backend logic, and data flows
• Strong product sense to identify and improve awkward flows and complexity
• Good judgment on scope, iteration, and technical trade-offs
• Security-conscious engineering handling sensitive data and implications
• Clear communication across engineering, product, and design
• AI-native working style using AI tools daily

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI-powered product experiences (chat, search, recommendation, workflows, agent-like systems)
• Experience with Python, Node.js on the backend
• Experience owning product areas with limited oversight
• Strong feel for performance, accessibility, and production quality in complex web applications

• Build and ship user-facing product features across frontend and backend
• Turn rough product goals into practical solutions with strong execution
• Work comfortably in UI, application logic, APIs, and data flows
• Partner closely with product and design despite incomplete specifications
• Improve usability, clarity, performance, and reliability
• Instrument shipped features to learn from production and iterate
• Use AI tools daily to accelerate workflows and engineering leverage
