Cloud Solutions Architect

PwC Poland’s Cloud & Digital team provides services in Cloud Strategy, Cloud Migrations, Data Analytics, DevOps, Application Modernisation & Cloud Native to support clients in innovation adoption and business performance improvement.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, Application Architect, or Technical Architect with cloud-based solutions
• Practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of cloud architecture concepts including deployments within cloud landing zones with networking, security, identity, governance, and operating model considerations
• Ability to design solutions within existing cloud landing zones and operating models
• Proven experience in software engineering or application architecture, understanding application design and integration patterns in cloud transformations
• Experience supervising delivery teams or technical workstreams
• Experience providing technical guidance, solution design reviews, and ensuring delivery quality
• Good understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Business English at B2 level or above
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and direct client communication

Nice to have:

• Consulting experience in technology, cloud, digital transformation, or IT advisory
• Experience in business development, pre-sales, proposal preparation, or client offer development
• Experience in adjacent technology domains such as DevOps, data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or AI
• Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience designing or implementing cloud landing zones
• Experience in multi-cloud environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data, Business or related fields
• Experience in regulated industries or complex enterprise environments

• Designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions tailored to business requirements
• Designing cloud solutions fitting existing landing zones and operating models considering networking, security, and governance
• Bridging cloud architecture with software engineering for practical delivery, integration, maintainability, and operations
• Providing day-to-day oversight of delivery teams including technical guidance, prioritization, and quality assurance
• Ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Leading implementation and deployment of cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• Managing projects from conception through implementation and post-deployment support
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Supporting client conversations and contributing to proposals or business development
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
