Software Engineer/Senior Python Developer

Group Technology is part of a bank focused on engineering solutions and supporting the bank's transformation by providing a holistic technological view and structured understanding of the bank and its environment to enable the Customer Vision and Business Strategy. The Financial Statement team within the Rating and Limit Management Unit builds and maintains software solutions to store and deliver data across the bank, supporting regulatory compliance, data quality, audit trails, and integration of financial data with rating and credit decision solutions. The team works with multiple data sources and external integrations requiring sophisticated data orchestration, delivering scalable solutions for the credit part of the bank business.

• Proficiency in Python for reliable, testable services and automation supporting production systems
• Experience in designing automation frameworks, particularly Robot Framework
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, DevOps including automated build, test, and deployment using Git-based workflows
• Established background in SQL, Selenium, and Power BI
• Hands-on experience in writing Gherkin scenarios
• Implementing AI-driven solutions to optimize testing workflows
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest
• Strong independent work ethic and superior organizational skills

• Exposure to data warehouse principles
• Experience with database technologies
• Acquainted with or willing to learn data modeling

• Developing automation scripts using Robot Framework and Python
• Implementing automated solutions for daily data handling tasks and preparing test data
• Planning and executing tests, analyzing test results, and reporting defects
• Running automated regression tests as part of the CI/CD process using Jenkins
• Performing API testing and expanding test coverage
• Optimizing workflows with AI tools to increase efficiency and maintainability of solutions delivered from business demand to working application
• Partnering with business stakeholders, data users, and solution architects while anticipating and addressing business demands
