SAP Finance Consultant - Manufacturing practice

The Manufacturing practice specializes in defining business processes and implementing transformational SAP solutions for large organizations, focusing on strategy, architecture, and SAP technology.

• 15+ years of SAP FICO experience with at least 5+ years in a lead role
• Proven track record leading large-scale, end-to-end S/4HANA Finance implementations (greenfield and/or brownfield) as FICO/R2R lead
• Strong experience in the manufacturing sector
• Expertise across core FICO processes
• Experience integrating non-finance process areas like S2P, O2C, and P2F
• Experience in presales including proposal writing, effort estimation, and solutioning for RFPs
• Excellent stakeholder management skills engaging with CFOs and senior finance leadership
• Preferred SAP certification(s) in S/4HANA Finance
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and project governance frameworks
• Willingness to travel

• Serve as senior client-facing advisor for SAP Finance transformation programs (greenfield, brownfield, selective/system conversion)
• Lead due diligence, value proposition, and business case discussions with client finance leadership
• Own end-to-end solution vision for large/complex SAP FICO engagements from finance process assessment through hypercare
• Provide oversight and quality assurance on FICO solution architecture, design, and configuration (GL, AA, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, Group Reporting, Central Finance, Treasury/Cash Management)
• Guide fit-to-standard workshops ensuring adherence to SAP and industry best practices
• Review and validate design documents, integration approaches, and data migration strategies for financial master and transactional data
• Ensure delivery governance including risk management, quality checkpoints, and timelines/budget adherence
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, RFPs, and client pitches
• Build, mentor, and lead a team of SAP FICO Consultants and Sr. Consultants
• Foster high-performance culture and conduct performance reviews
• Stay current with SAP roadmap including S/4HANA Finance innovations, RISE with SAP, and BTP base
