Information Security Analyst

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience in information security, security operations, security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, access management, or compliance support (HIPAA, SOC 2)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: GCP, Azure
• Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and endpoint protection
• Experience administering identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC) and conducting access reviews
• Ability to monitor security events and support incident management
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation coordination
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including HIPAA and SOC 2
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote and fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with AI tools in daily work

Preferred Requirements:

• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent
• Experience with SIEM platforms or alerting tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle
• Scripting skills: Python, Bash or similar
• Background in penetration testing coordination, threat analysis, or vulnerability management
• Experience supporting vendor security assessments and data processing reviews
• Experience managing or configuring endpoint protection and device security tools
• Background in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated environments
• Experience with security awareness training or internal security education
• Familiarity with GDPR or other data protection regulations

• Monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support incident detection, response, and post-incident analysis
• Validate controls, conduct assessments, and manage access reviews
• Support compliance programs and audit preparation including HIPAA and SOC 2
• Conduct or support vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
• Administer identity and access controls including SSO, MFA, and RBAC
• Use AI tools to analyze logs, automate reporting, and accelerate workflows
