Cloudera Solution Architect

Cyclad is an international consulting company specializing in the IT/ICT sectors, providing outsourcing services in HR and IT. They serve diverse industries including Banking, Aviation, Travel, Cybersecurity, and BPO, tailoring solutions to each sector's specific challenges.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data and cloud-based projects
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Data Architect in large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience delivering distributed data solutions across complex, multi-vendor organizations
• Deep knowledge of distributed data platforms, especially Cloudera CDH/CDP (On-Prem and Cloud)
• Experience with processing large datasets, streaming data, and unstructured sources using Cassandra, hBase, Kafka, and Spark
• Strong ETL and data pipeline experience with tools like Airflow and NiFi
• Strong programming background in Java, Python, or Scala
• Good knowledge of data architecture principles
• Ability to lead and own complex data deliveries
• Experience with API Exposure, Integration, Streaming, and Change Data Capture
• Very good command of English

• Financial services experience

• Lead design and delivery of data solutions within the Bank’s Platforms on Cloudera in AWS
• Design end-to-end data lake and distributed data solutions
• Contribute to solution planning, effort estimation, and identification of technical risks and dependencies
• Review and guide solution designs by other Data Solution Architects and engineering teams
• Promote and define best practices across data architecture, engineering, governance, and delivery
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and Group Data Office to refine and translate data requirements
• Present solution designs to the Bank’s Architecture Review Board when necessary
• Provide support and engage with non-factory solution architects on change initiatives
• Ensure technical designs align with overall solution architecture and enterprise data strategy
• Support delivery lead to enable iterative delivery in sprints
• Support engineering functions including mapping, building, testing, and release
• Review requirements and monitor change requests for solution fitness
