Engineering Manager

OLX is a marketplace building sustainable ecosystems used by millions monthly to buy and sell cars, find homes, land jobs, and trade secondhand goods. The company operates across 7 markets with 50+ nationalities and is backed by Prosus, one of the world's largest tech investors.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven people management experience of 3+ years focusing on team development.
• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and software design patterns.
• Understanding and application experience of AI/ML.
• Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

• Lead a team of engineers with technical guidance, mentorship, and career development.
• Collaborate with data science, data engineering, and product managers to define project goals and deliverables.
• Drive end-to-end development from design through deployment, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Identify and prioritize technical initiatives based on ROI, scalability, and performance.
• Implement agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment for efficient delivery.
• Gather and analyze requirements to meet customer needs and enhance user experience.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture encouraging knowledge sharing and innovation.

This role requires candidates to be residing in Poland already.
