PMO Consultant with German

VM.PL is recruiting experienced PMO Consultants with very good German language skills to support a program for a client in the banking sector (development bank).

• Higher education (e.g., management, economics, mathematics, computer science, economic informatics, or related fields).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the banking sector.
• Very good knowledge of German language, spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Very good proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Experience in budget planning, controlling, risk and resource management.
• Ability to prepare management reports and communicate effectively with management and board.
• Experience in managing projects or programs in a banking environment.

Nice to have:

• Agile certification (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of analyses and techniques such as investment profitability analysis, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), Milestone Trend Analysis (MTA), profit & loss impact analysis (P&L), amortization (AfA).
• Knowledge of development banks' functioning (Förderbanken).

• Provide strategic support to program management.
• Plan project budget and control costs (controlling).
• Plan the program and manage resources considering dependencies between projects.
• Prepare and initiate projects and execute standard PMO tasks.
• Identify, analyze, and manage project risks.
• Prepare and update schedules, budget plans, and status reports.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and project documentation for management and the board.
• Organize and moderate Steering Committee meetings.
• Coordinate cooperation between IT department, business, and other stakeholders.

Only candidates with very good German language skills in spoken and written forms are considered. Work is remote with possible delegations to client or office in Wrocław, Poland.
