Databricks Genie Architect

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures. They were named the Genie Partner of the Year (2026) for their work deploying Databricks Genie at enterprise scale. With over 150 Databricks projects delivered, they focus on unlocking self-service analytics for Fortune 500 leaders. They have direct access to product roadmaps, private previews, and the teams building the platform.

Must Have:

• 4+ years hands-on experience with the Databricks ecosystem, particularly Databricks Genie, Unity Catalog, and Databricks SQL/Workflows.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with data modeling (star schemas, gold tables, views) for Genie readiness.
• Strong production-grade Python coding experience.
• Strong understanding of GenAI concepts including Text-to-SQL paradigms, prompt engineering, semantic routing, and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark) for data transformation and orchestration.
• Experience with REST API integration for GenAI endpoints.

Nice to have:

• Experience with MLflow and model serving within the Databricks AI suite.

Databricks Genie & Conversational AI Development (Core Focus):

• Design, configure, and maintain high-performing Databricks Genie Spaces tailored to complex business domains.
• Curate semantic metadata, SQL queries, and golden instructions to ensure accurate deterministic SQL generation.
• Test, benchmark, and fine-tune Genie responses to handle complex logic and multi-turn conversations.
• Connect Databricks Genie endpoints to custom web interfaces and implement feedback loops for accuracy improvement.

GenAI & Data Engineering Support:

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark for Delta Lake.
• Utilize LLMs on Databricks for metadata enrichment, automated data labeling, and semantic optimization.

Collaboration & Implementation:

• Translate between business users and the data platform, structuring schemas for easier querying by Genie.
