Engineering Manager, Detection

Intuition Machines builds enterprise security products using AI/ML serving hundreds of millions of people globally with a distributed team. Their best-known product is the hCaptcha security suite.

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience with Typescript or Python; familiarity with Rust, Go, or C++.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable operations, preferably handling millions of requests per second.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proven leadership in building high-performing, engaged, geo-distributed engineering teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with edge workers such as Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Edge Compute, or Akamai Serverless Compute.
• Production-level experience with Rust or Golang.

• Manage, grow, and support a team of experienced engineers responsible for applications, tools, and infrastructure driving security products.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and domain experts to devise and execute unique fraud and automation detection and mitigation solutions.
• Mentor and guide engineers to enhance their skills and decision-making.
• Participate in code and architecture design, contribute to feature development, and maintain high quality standards through peer reviews and mentorship.
