Senior PHP Software Engineer (Pimcore)

Branchspace sp. z o.o. works with major travel brands, including airlines, to design and deliver world-class digital applications. They develop travel technology solutions based on the open-source Pimcore DXP web content management system and operate from their office in Kraków, Poland.

• Experience developing with PHP and Symfony
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience designing and integrating JSON/REST, GraphQL, and SOAP/XML APIs
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3), Redis, Nginx or Apache, PHP-FPM, and Git
• Experience with Pimcore DXP or other Symfony-based CMS/digital platforms
• Knowledge of website monitoring, analytics, and performance optimization
• Understanding of web security concepts
• DevOps experience including cloud hosting, especially AWS

Bonus experience:

• Knowledge of airline or travel-related mobile apps
• Experience with eCommerce platform integration, CRM/CDP integration, and website portal development
• Developing front-end components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS
• Backend development with Java/Spring
• CDN deployment experience with Cloudflare or Akamai
• Experience building high performance, mission-critical mobile applications
• Teamwork in Scrum-based environments
• Relevant degree with first-class honors in Computer Science or related fields

• Develop RESTful back-end CMS services using PHP and Symfony
• Work with Product and UX teams to define requirements, roadmap, and architecture
• Hands-on architecture, design, and coding of the platform
• Implement and enhance agile development practices such as CI and TDD
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and development practices
